I’m a sucker for reversible items - 2 outfits for the price of one can’t be bad, can it?

So I love this reversible hat on from Organics for Kids. On one side you have stripes and on the other spots and it’s available in 4 different colours. There are two sizes which will take your baby up to a year old. Organics for Kids make a number of matching items too. It’s made from organic cotton and is ethically produced.  Price is £8.20.

9J Reversible Trousers

These are a lovely pair of smart trousers which are coffee coloured cords on one side and a stone colour on the reverse.  They have a cute lion motif for design.  Available in size 2-3 years.  UK made, which is great.  Available from Twigs 4 Kids for £18. Continued

I love this adorable denim pinafore dress from Bamboo Baby. It’s classically designed with no fussiness and made from soft organic bamboo fabric which is sustainably produced.

There’s a very sweet ribbon tie detail around the dress which adds the finishing touch. You could wear it all year round by teaming it with warmer or cooler tops to suit the season. Dress it up for a party/special occasion or down to wear it as an everyday dress. It’s available in sizes up to 24 months and in a couple of colours too.

These Kneepatch Pull Ups from Frugi look great.

They are made from 100% organic cotton and are designed to use with real nappies which tend to be bulkier, but would be fine with disposables too. With their drawstring waist, they will pull on easily and be comfortable to wear. Another great feature is the way the drawstring is sewn in at the back so that it can’t be pulled out by curious little hands. The knees have another layer of material which means they last longer and it looks good too.

They’re available in 3 colours - pink, blue and unisex silver.

 We have featured posts from Noolibird before on our group of sites, as they have a glorious range of products, including pyjamas, and bedlinen and I recently caught up with Nula, the owner and director.

Reason for starting the company? I am a textile designer and I have always wanted to design for children’s rooms, and on having my own children I noticed that there was a lack of beautifully designed products for childrens interiors, so I set out to design some fabrics and wallpaper borders.

This week we talk to Linda from Sones.  We have featured Sones before on TGF, sellers of gorgeous organic clothing for your bambino.

Linda was inspired to start Sones after the birth of her first grandson.  She bought him organic clothes to wear and was amazed by the quality of the products.  Since then she has been driven to find out so much more about the benefits of both social and environmental of buying organic.

Sones has been going for only 14 months, and Linda says “It is all still very new and she is learning all the time.”

At Sones you will find a range of organic baby and children´s clothing up to the age of 4 or 5 years old, including probably the biggest selection of baby gowns on the web. You can also get accessories, gifts, and a range of organic baby skincare and recently they’ve begun stocking organic baby comforters and fairtrade toys, with plans to add a range of organic skin care products for the mummies too.

Linda´s favourite green luxury item is the Essential Care soothing salve, as it is so smooth and lovely to touch and lends itself to many uses.

Linda´s top green tip is as she is a keen gardener, she makes her own eco-friendly weedkiller, which includes:  Vinegar, salt and tiny amounts of ecover washing up liquid.
