I love this adorable denim pinafore dress from Bamboo Baby. It’s classically designed with no fussiness and made from soft organic bamboo fabric which is sustainably produced.
There’s a very sweet ribbon tie detail around the dress which adds the finishing touch. You could wear it all year round by teaming it with warmer or cooler tops to suit the season. Dress it up for a party/special occasion or down to wear it as an everyday dress. It’s available in sizes up to 24 months and in a couple of colours too.
Available from Bamboo Baby for £20.

I’m impressed by the styling of this Eco Tableware designed by Tom Dixon, a UK designer. They look tough enough for everyday use, but also very stylish for more formal meals.
They are made of biodegradable plastic and 85% bamboo so when they have finished their working life, they can simply be composted. You can buy the cups and bowls separately as sets of 4, and the table set comes with 4 each of cups, bowls and plates.
Prices start at £14.95 and they are available from Tactile Interiors.

I was just checking out some hot deals on our sister site Budget Bambino Goodies when I came across this, which I just had to share with you.
Baby sleeping bags are all the fashion nowadays, not only because they look good, but they also help look after our bambinos, by keeping them at the right temperature and without all the fuss of blankets etc.
The Bamboo Dream collection is the first baby and infant bedding range to be made from the printed bamboo fabric, which is gorgeously soft, ecologically friendly and has natural antibacterial properties.
suitable for age 0-6 months, it has a tog rating of 2.5, is stylish and has an integrated mesh panel to help keep the baby at a comfortable sleeping temperature.
Available from Boots for £14.99. Was £29.99.

As a light green individual, I’m always on the lookout for simple ways to introduce more ethical products into the home that don’t break the bank.
Bamboo is increasingly appearing in a wide variety of products because aside from being beautiful, it’s fast growing without need for fertiliser, and durable, making it a fantastic alternative to wood (and petroleum-based materials) because it’s sustainable and eco-conscious.
This Bamboo Chopping Board has been featured in the Sunday Times Style Magazine and is really gorgeous. It’s practical and stylish with its stripes and all it needs is a damp cloth to wipe it clean and you can occasionally wipe it down with some vegetable oil so that it keeps its appearance.
For someone like me who likes everything she buys to tick the style box and hates seeing ‘eco’ tagged products that are hugely overpriced, I think this Bamboo Chopping Board is excellent value, so not only could you buy this for your own family to introduce some green into your home, but it also makes a great gift.
